The company prides itself on delivering “excellent wines at exceptional value” through:

  • An ever-evolving selection sourced by expert buyers—including smaller, boutique producers and classic favourites
  • Free, next working-day delivery on UK orders over £75–£135, with reliable warehouse and courier coordination
  • Outstanding customer service with a friendly, knowledgeable team ready to assist with, gifting, corporate orders, weddings, and events
  • A strong commitment to sustainability—recyclable and compostable packaging, and a focus on environmentally responsible wineries.

Our Task Was

Slurp engaged us to help manage a time-sensitive systems transition: their existing warehouse management system (WMS) was being phased out, and they needed to replace it with a new solution—while ensuring continuous integration with their eCommerce platform. The goal was to implement the new WMS without disrupting daily operations, maintaining real-time inventory accuracy and fulfilment efficiency throughout the switchover.

Process

We collaborated with Slurp to understand the specifications of the new WMS and its impact on ecommerce workflows. Our work involved:

  • Mapping the integration architecture between the front end and the warehouse system.
  • Developing the revised workflow and integrating the two systems via API calls.
  • Ongoing coordination with logistics partners to ensure a seamless switch without disrupting live orders or customer expectations.
  • Post implementation bug fixing and support.

Result

The integration of the new warehouse management system was completed while maintaining Slurp’s live operations. Real-time inventory syncing, accurate order tracking, and uninterrupted fulfilment were managed, ensuring a successful transition for both internal teams and end customers.

Conclusion

This project ensured Slurp’s business continuity during a major logistical shift. By replacing the discontinued WMS and delivering an integration with their eCommerce platform, we helped safeguard their customer experience and internal workflows.
